Explosions rocked Somalia’s capital Mogadishu on Saturday

At list theree militants have been killed after  explosions and following gunfire have been attacked to Somali presidential palace in Mogadishu on Saturday by Al-Shabab militants, Radio Kulmiye reports.

Armed militants with cars laden with explosives have forcefully passed security checkpoint, where presidential guards controlled.

Security forces fried bullets to hardly driving car, after a while the explosions occurred near popular hotel and statue called SYL.

Fighting between somali security forces and armed fighters of Al-Shabab started sooner.

Second blast heard near the first area.

There is civilian casualties but not counted, according to security officials.

Last Saturday July 7, Al-Shabab attacked security and interior ministries which is one kilometre from today’s attacked site.
